Alaia F “Excited And Nervous” To Join Saif Ali Khan In London As Jawaani Jaaneman Goes On Floors
Alaia F is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with Jawaani Jaaneman, directed by Nitin Kakkar, produced by Jackky Bhagnani's Pooja Films in association with Saif Ali Khan's Black Night Films and Jay Shewakramani's Norther Lights Films.

While a string of newcomers are making their inroads into the Hindi film industry, insiders have been placing their bets on Alaia F, Pooja Bedi's daughter who is quite the social media sensation.

The makers were keen on casting a fresh face since they believed that an author backed role like this best suited a debutante.

While Saif Ali Khan has already left for London, Alaia will now head to the city to spend time with the star and prep for her role in the film.

Jawaani Jaaneman is a coming of age film and a fun comic take on how a man confronts the harsh reality of his life. Alaia who essays the role of Saif's daughter in the film was keen on being on the sets and interacting with the cast and crew before they started filming.

"It's daunting, but it makes every cell in my body dance. I’m one of those who love to over-prepare, and am hence leaving for London a week in advance. I want to get into the skin of my character and study the script better. I’m working with established artists who I admire, so I’m understandably nervous. To ease those nerves, Nitin sir thought it would [be apt] for me to observe things on set before I have to go in front of the cameras.”

“My first scene is on June 26. Nitin sir has worked with many new actors, and understands how to put us at ease. He told me to know my script, and my lines, well. All that preparation, he said, will translate into [a better act] when cameras roll.”

Alaia will soon join Saif Ali Khan in London to prep for her role in the film. She looks upto Saif and wanted to spend some time with him given that he plays her father in the film. The characters share an interesting dynamic and the two will do a couple of reading sessions before they start shooting the film in London. Jawaani Jaaneman is set to release on 29th November 2019.
